The Pathways to Progress: Conference on the Current State of Education for Afghan Women and Girls will feature a series of insightful sessions that will delve into various facets of Afghan women and girls' education within Afghanistan. This public session will provide an overview to the entire conference and will address the current state of affairs and engage in a meaningful dialogue about the challenges, strategies, and opportunities in ensuring continued education for Afghan women and girls. This session is open to all participants interested in understanding the foundational aspects of the conference's theme.

Our keynote speaker will be Ms. Pashtana Durrani. She is an activist, educator, innovator, and writer. She is currently the Executive Director of @LEARNAfg, a visiting fellow at Wellesley Women’s Center, and an Aspen Institute New Voices fellow.
