Shaili Chopra, The power of digital and SheThePeople

Lalita du Perron talks to award-winning journalist Shaili Chopra, who is building the women's internet in India with breakthrough initiatives to impact the lives of millions of women. The journalist turned entrepreneur set up SheThePeople, a digital platform that covers issues like women's health, careers, and sexuality. Her learnings at SheThePeople are now leading Shaili to her next venture - Gytree which will bring primary and preventive healthcare access to Indian women suffering from many reproductive and sexual health issues. With over 220 million urban women in India, Gytree will provide women a discreet, science-backed and affordable space to solve basic healthcare needs. Given the vast and diverse audiences in India, Shaili and her team have also created a free, automated chatbot on sexual and reproductive health - called Doctor Didi in three languages. Click on this link to open on your WhatsApp and begin interacting.
