Dharshani Lakmali Jayasinghe: 2021 Susan W. Schofield Oral History Award Winner

Congratulations to Dharshani Lakmali Jayasinghe, the 2021 Susan W. Schofield Oral History Award Winner!

The Schofield Award was established in 2018 and is given annually to recognize excellence in oral history work in the Stanford community. Dharshani Lakmali Jayasinghe's project In Transit: An Oral History Project about Crossing Borders focuses on the experiences of Stanford students with regard to obtaining visas and traveling to Stanford, especially in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. The project studies the challenges international students and scholars have undergone, and continue to undergo, as a result of visa-related restrictions and rules since the pandemic started.
