Performative Diasporas Conference

Performative Diasporas is a one-day conference showcasing new research on performativity and performance in the South Asian diaspora. It brings together scholars and practitioners for interdisciplinary conversations around music, religion, race, identity, and performance. The morning session is titled, “Domesticating the Raj through Indian Jewish Song,” and the afternoon session is called, “Race, Religion, and Identity in Indo-Caribbean Encounters.”
